Marvelous Journeys & Safaries has been working as active member to promote tourism to the farest parts of India this is a 18 day Journey covering some of the most wonderful sights which are yet to explore. We start with Golden Triangle which is a must visit place if you are visiting India later we reach Varanasi the oldest city as per Hindu mythology then we move to eastern Himalayan’s starting which one of most beautiful hill stations in India Darjeeling. Later we also visit Kalimpong & Gangtok which are also worth visiting places. At last we reach kolkata hub of eastern India

Detail Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive at Indra Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi. Upon Arrival you are welcomed and assisted by the local representative after that transfer to the hotel and your rest of day is free for leisure and overnight at the hotel

Day 02: Delhi
Breakfast at the hotel and we start our full day tour with Old Delhi, First of all we visit Red fort after that we visit Jama Masjid and we take a rikshaw ride as well. After that we visit India gate, Raj ghat etc. In the evening we visit Kutub minar and later we come back to the hotel and overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Delhi – Jaipur
Breakfast at the hotel and today we drive to Pink city Jaipur and we reach Jaipur by evening and check in at the hotel and our rest of day is free for leisure and overnight at the hotel.

Day 04: Jaipur
Breakfast at the hotel and today we visit Jaipur. We start with Amber fort there we reach amber fort by Elephant ride and after seeing Amber fort we Visit to City Palace & Museum and later on we visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds). In the evening we come back to the hotel and overnight at the hotel.

Day 05: Jaipur – Agra

Breakfast at the hotel and today we drive to Agra and enroute we visit Fatehpur – Sikri (Once capital of King Akbar) we reach Agra in the evening and overnight at the hotel.

Day 06: Agra – Varanasi (Overnight Train)
Breakfast at his hotel and today we visit The Taj Mahal and Agra fort and itmat ud- daullah and Sikandara and later we will be free for shopping and later we will be transfer to Railway station to take overnight train to Varanasi.

Day 07: Varanasi
Upon arrival at Varanasi railway station we will be transfer to hotel and in the afternoon we go for half day temple tour of Varanasi and Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08: Varanasi – NewJalpaigudi (By Overnight Train)
We get up early in the morning and do boat ride by sunrise on the Ghats of ganges later we comeback to the hotel and Breakfast at the hotel and later we drive to Sarnath, a place where Lord Buddha give enlightenment and evening free for Shopping and later we will be transfer to Railway station to take overnight train to NewJalpaigudi. Overnight in the Train.

Day 09: NewJalpaigudi – Darjeeling

Upon Arrival you will be welcomed and straightaway you will drive to Darjeeling and check in at the hotel and our evening is free for leisure and overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Darjeeling
Very early in the morning (at around 0300 hrs), we take you to Tiger Hill to catch a glimpse of sunrise over Khangchendzonga (Subject to clear weather conditions). On the way back you can see Batasia Loop-the point where the rail tracks spiral around over itself through a tunnel and over a hilltop to reduce the gradient of ascent and Ghoom Monastery. Evening is meant for leisure activities or for a joy train ride in Toy Train (optional). Dinner and overnight stay is at hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 11: Darjeeling
After breakfast, we will take you for a full day excursion trip of Darjeeling including HMI (Himalayan Mountaineering Institute), Zoological Gardens, and Dhirdham temple, Ropeway, Happy Valley Tea Estate, Lebong Race Course, Tenzing, Gombu Rock, Peace Pagoda and Japanese temple. Dinner and overnight stay is at hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 12: Darjeeling – Kalimpong
Breakfast at the hotel and today we will drive to Kalimpong and check in at the hotel and in the afternoon we visit famous places of Kalimpong and overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Kalimpong - Gangtok

Breakfast at the hotel and today we drive to Gangtok and check in at the hotel and our rest of day is free for leisure and overnight at the hotel.

Day 14: Gangtok
After breakfast, we take you for a full day excursion trip of Gangtok including Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok and Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Banjhakari Falls, Tashi View Point etc, Rumtek Monastery etc. Overnight stay and dinner is in hotel.

Day 15: Gangtok

Early in the morning, we take you to an excursion trip to Tsongo Lake or Changu Lake which is a glacial lake in East Sikkim, Baba Harbhajan Temple- a temple made and revered by soldiers to owner a famous Indian Army officer named Captain Baba Harbhajan Singh and Nathu La Pass (a mountain pass in the Himalayas which connects the Indian state of Sikkim with China's Tibet Autonomous Region. The pass is at 4,310 m (14,140 ft) above mean sea level, and forms a part of the ancient Silk Road). Overnight stay and dinner is in hotel.

Day 16: Gangtok – Bagdogra – Kolkata

Breakfast at the hotel and today we drive to Bagdogra and upon arrival straight away you will be transfer to Airport to take a direct fight to Kolkata and upon arrival in kolkata we are transfer to hotel and overnight at the hotel.

Day 17: Kolkata

Breakfast at the hotel and visit famous places in Kolkata such as Victoria Museum, Hawrah Bridge and other major attractions of Kolkata. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 18: Kolkata – Departure

Breakfast at the hotel and today we are transfer to International airport to take a direct flight to desired destination.
